Prayer on the Mountain

Prayer on the Mountain is a series of talks and prayer that takes place at the Monastery in Georgetown, in their St. John Villa. The purpose of the series is two-fold: to enrich our prayer lives through talks from speakers from the Greater Sacramento area, coupled with prayer and fellowship; and, to acquaint people from the Greater Sacramento area with the Monastery by spending a day on the beautiful grounds.

Always on a Saturday, the series of three workshops takes place throughout the Springtime each year. Each program begins with an hour-long talk by a well-known speaker, with prayer, followed by a salad bar lunch. All programs begin at 11:00 AM and conclude by 1:00 PM. The Chapel on the Monastery grounds is open all day, and daily Mass is at 8:00 AM.

Every Prayer on the Mountain event is always FREE, although donations at the event are accepted. Please click on an upcoming Prayer on the Mountain event below for more details, and to register for an event!
