Dear Auxiliary Members,

When we began the Auxiliary, I felt confident that we would have only one fund raiser per year. This year, we are having our Fund Raiser Luncheon on October 8, 2016, from 12 noon to 3 PM. This luncheon will have an Italian theme and include a silent auction and raffle. It will be a lot of fun so please SAVE THE DATE! More on this later.

But this month of June has been one of repairs and unforeseen expenses in the Monastery. Can you spare a small donation NOW so that the Monastery can meet their expenses this month? Repairs had to be made to the building itself, modifying a room to accommodate a wheelchair and the extra care that a senior would need. An electrical problem also had to be resolved. As you know, these kinds of repairs are expensive.

If you can donate $5, $10, or $25 today, please mail it directly to the Carmelite Monastery at the above post office box number, PO Box 4210, Georgetown, 95634. No member of the Auxiliary will see your donation; it goes directly to the Sisters and is confidential. It is fully tax deductible. 

Would you also consider a small monthly donation directly to the Monastery? This will help greatly in paying the bills. You may think that a small donation is too insignificant, but I assure you that it is not. If you can do this, adding a donation to the Monastery as part of your monthly bills, it would be greatly appreciated!
